Overview

The Trio is our complete hardside set: a 20 inch carry-on, a 24 inch medium and a 29 inch large. It covers a weekend, a fortnight and a month-long trip in one purchase, and the three cases nest inside each other for storage.

Every case in the set includes:

  • A built-in ScalePro scale that weighs the packed case up to 42kg, so you can check the weight before you reach the airport
  • A front-opening panel that opens like a wardrobe, for access without unpacking
  • A TSA-approved lock
  • A 100% polycarbonate shell with an underside grab handle

The carry-on also has USB-A and USB-C charging ports, for use with your own power bank (not included).

Sizes: Carry-On 32 L (36 L expanded) for 3 to 5 days, Medium 60 L (67 L expanded) for 1 to 2 weeks, Large 104 L (114 L expanded) for longer trips.

Each case ships with a calico dust bag. Built to last and backed by the TRVLR Lifetime Warranty, with 30 day returns.

Care guide

Shell
Wipe with a soft cloth, warm water and a little mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, which dull the finish.

Lining
Spot clean with a damp cloth, then leave the case open to air dry before storing.

Wheels
Wipe away grit after a trip so they keep turning quietly.

Storage
Keep each case in its dust bag somewhere dry. If you keep a power bank in the Carry-On, remove it before storing.

ScalePro
When the display fades, replace the LR44 cell.

Should I choose the Medium or the Large?

The Medium suits one to two weeks. The Large holds about 70% more for 1.3 kg more weight, which suits longer trips, winter packing or two people sharing.

Will the Carry-On fit in the overhead locker?

The Carry-On measures 56 × 34 × 23 cm including wheels and weighs 3.0 kg. When it isn't expanded, that's within the 56 × 36 × 23 cm cabin bag limit used by Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia. Limits vary by airline and fare, so check yours before you fly.

How accurate is ScalePro?

Lift the packed case by the top handle and hold it still until the reading settles. ScalePro reads from 0.1 to 42 kg.

Is a power bank included?

No. The Carry-On has USB-A and USB-C ports that work with your own power bank. The Medium and Large do not have charging ports. Airlines do not allow power banks in checked bags, so keep yours in the cabin with you.

Do the cases nest inside each other?

Yes. The Carry-On fits inside the Medium, and the Medium inside the Large, so the set stores in the space of one case.
